Master Chief Masrelian is a native of Van Nuys, CA. She enlisted in the Navy in June 1997. After completing Recruit Training Command, Technical Core, and Fire Controlman “A” School in Great Lakes, IL, she attended Tomahawk “C” school in San Diego, CA. Her first sea duty assignment was on the USS Benfold (DDG-65), home ported in San Diego, CA. During her tour she qualified Command Duty Officer and earned her Enlisted Surface Warfare qualification. As part of “Sea Swap”, she completed her second deployment on the USS Higgins (DDG 76).
In September 2003, she reported to Navy Recruiting District (NRD) San Antonio where she advanced to Fire Controlman First Class and simultaneously converted to Navy Counselor (Recruiter). She completed her Associates of Arts Degree in Electronics Technology in December 2005. Her follow on tours were as a Zone Supervisor in NRD Chicago, a Command Trainer in NRD Los Angeles, and the Assistant Chief Recuiter in NRD Pittsburgh.
She is a graduate of the Air Force Senior Non-Comissioned Officer Academy Class 15-D. She was selected as a Command Senior Chief, graduated from the CMC/COB course, and assigned to Naval Support Activity Annapolis in November 2017. In October 2018, she served as
the CMC of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron-25, the “Island Knights” on Andersen Air Force Base in Guam.
Command Master Chief Masrelian assumed her current duties as the CMC of Naval Weapons Station Earle in Colts Neck, NJ in September 2021.
Her awards include one Meritorious Service Medal, three Navy Commendation Medals, the Navy Achievement Medal with four gold stars and various unit commendations and service ribbons.
