Commander Christopher M. Johnson is a native of Dallas, Texas and enlisted in the United States Navy in September 1994. Upon graduation from Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois, he successfully competed Seaman Apprenticeship Training in December 1994. Commander Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from National-Louis University. Commissioned through the Limited Duty Officer program, he was designated as an Administration Officer in April 2007.
CDR Johnson’s previous enlisted tours include: Deck Seaman onboard USS SUPPLY (AOE 6); Administrative Assistant for Naval Amphibious Base Little Creek; Commanding Officer’s Yeoman for Amphibious Construction Battalion TWO; Leading Petty Officer for Presidential Contingency Programs, White House Military Office, Washington, DC; Leading Petty Officer for Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station, Manama, Bahrain; Leading Chief Petty Officer onboard USS NASHVILLE (LPD 13).

CDR Johnson is currently serving as the Executive Officer, Naval Support Activity Hampton Roads.
