Command Senior Chief Andrea Jones, hails from Philadelphia, Pa. She graduated from Parkway Northwest High School in 2003 and attended boot camp at Recruit Training Command Great
Lakes, Ill. in May 2004. She then completed Operation Specialist “A” School at Dam Neck, Virginia Beach Va., and has served in various sea and shore assignments throughout her career.

Her sea duty assignments include USS Gonzales (DDG-66) in 2004; USS Stout (DDG 55) from 2004 to 2006; USS Winston S. Churchill (DDG 81) from 2008 to 2013; Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG) from 2013 to 2014. She has served as Operations Department Leading Chief at Tactical Air Control Squadron TWO ONE from 2017-2021, and Precommissioning Unit Ted Stevens (DDG 128) from 2023-2025. During her sea duty assignments she completed five deployments, including one during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jones’ shore assignments included Combat Direction Systems Activity (CDSA) Dam Neck from 2006 to 2008 and CSCS Unit Dam Neck 2013-2016; serving as Chaplain Officer Recruiter at Naval Acquisition Talent Group (NTAG) Philadelphia from 2021-2023.

In 2025, she was selected for the Command Senior Enlisted Leader program and currently, she serves as the Command Senior Chief of the Naval Support Activity Lakehurst, N.J., having
assumed the position in September 2025.

She is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy Class 277 Orange. Her personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3), Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (6), and various unit and campaign awards. She is also qualified in Enlisted Surface Warfare, Enlisted Aviation Warfare, Expeditionary Warfare and Information Dominance Warfare.
