GATE HOURS

North Gate: Open 24-7

East Gate: Currently Closed

From Route 581 West: Follow Route 581 West to Exit #3 (Carlisle Pike/Route 11). Follow this exit ramp to the end, where there is an intersection with a traffic light (this is the Carlisle Pike). A mattress store is diagonally across the street on the left and Burger King is diagonally across the street on the right. Proceed straight through this intersection to the North Gate. Recommended for travelers using 283 North/83 South, 83 North, 15 North, and I-81 North or South. 

From 283 North/83 South: Follow I-283 North to I-83 South. Follow I-83 South across the Susquehanna river. I-83 South connects with Route 581 West without need for exit (do not get off the exit for I-83S after crossing the river). Follow Route 581 West. Recommended for travelers using I-76. 

From 83 North: Follow I-83 North to Route 581 West. Recommended for travelers using I-76. 

From I-81 North or South: Follow I-81 North or South to the Route 581/Carlisle Pike exit. Follow Route 581 West. 

From 15 North: Follow US15 North to Route 581 West. Recommended for travelers using I-76. 

From I-76 (Pennsylvania Turnpike): There are three ways to proceed:

  • Take the PA Turnpike to Harrisburg East, exit 247 (old exit 19). Follow I-283 North to I-83 South. Recommended for travelers using I-76 West from Philadelphia.

  • Take the PA Turnpike to Harrisburg West, exit 242 (old exit 18). Follow I-83 North. Recommended for travelers using I-76 West from Philadelphia.

  • Take the PA Turnpike to Gettysburg Pike, exit 236 (old exit 17). Follow US15 North. Recommended for travelers using I-76 West from Philadelphia or East from Pittsburgh.
