Commander Pecci is a native of Bath, Maine. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1993 and was commissioned an Ensign, under the Limited Duty Officer Program in 2005. His enlisted assignments included NSA Naples Italy, USS BELLEAU WOOD (LHA-3) forward deployed to Sasebo, Japan, Naval Air Station Sigonella and Naval Air Station Pensacola, where he was promoted to the rank of Chief Petty Officer.
His initial officer assignments include Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Japan where he was named the 2008 Pacific Fleet AT Program Manager of the Year and Expeditionary Strike Group TWO where he served as the Force Security Officer where he deployed to the 5
th Fleet AOR and served as the Force Security Officer and Afloat Battle Watch Captain and for the
newly established Counter Piracy Task Force, CTF 151.
CDR Pecci then transitioned to U.S. Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba where he served as the Installation Security Officer. Upon completion of his GTMO tour he served as the Operations Officer for NSA Washington, encompassing 6 Naval Installations within Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. He then completed another Department Head tour onboard USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN-69) where he completed a deployment to C6F/C5F and was the recipient of the 2016 Commander, U.S. Naval Air Forces Leadership Award, followed by a tour as the Force Security Officer for Commander, Naval Air Force, Atlantic. His most recent tour was as the Executive Officer at NCIS, Office of Military Support.
CDR Pecci is married to the former Lisa Bell of St. Louis, Missouri and has 2 children: Jared and Ryan. He holds a BS Degree in Business Management and a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice. His personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (2 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (6 awards), the Navy Achievement Medal (3 awards), he is qualified to wear the Surface Warfare Officer and Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist Insignias and the Navy Security Force Officer Insignia.
