ID CARDS, DEERS AND RAPIDS

Mission
Provide CAC and dependent ID card customer service support to active and retired reservist military personnel and CAC card support for DOD and contractor civilian employees.


Location
The ID Lab is located on the basement of Building 83, which is in Dealey Plaza, directly across from the movie theater, library and USO.  There is a handicap access ramp in the rear of Building 83.

Hours of Operation
Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Customers will be able to enter ID center until 3:30 p.m.


1st Saturday of every month 9 a.m. - noon (except holiday weekends)
Customers will be able to enter the ID center until 11:30 a.m. If the first Saturday of the month falls on a holiday weekend, the ID center will open the following Saturday with the same hours applying.
No appointment necessary


It is important to note that CAC cards take 15 - 20 minutes to prepare and dependent/retiree ID cards take 7 - 10 minutes to prepare.

To ensure smooth processing, customers need to bring a second form of picture ID (Drivers License).
The requirement for having two forms of photo IDs does not apply to dependent children already in DEERS under the age of 18.
