ECATTS

The Department of the Navy has developed a web-based program to provide environmental training.  The program, Environmental Compliance, Assessment, Training, and Tracking System (ECATTS), is intended to be used by contractors, civilians, and military personnel.

ECATTS primarily provides basic environmental awareness training, but also provides some in depth environmental training and certification.  ECATTS includes numerous short training modules so that   personnel who are required to complete annual training for Storm Water Pollution Prevention, specialized Storage Tank Management and Hazardous Waste Accumulation Areas as well as the one-time required training for Environmental Management Systems  (EMS) Awareness can fulfill these training requirements using ECATTS.   The training is self-paced and the web site can be accessed from any internet connected computer (including at home).
